Results of the Training Project for Trainers at the National School of Public Health of Cuba

Abstract

The National School of Public Health, for more than 90 years, has used an integrative approach of the sciences that include public health, politics in the search for well-being, democracy and community development written English. It has a faculty of professors trained in different sciences who advance towards the highest teaching and researching qualifications that the country establishes and increasingly require their actions to be directly related to the welfare state of the population. Keeping with the mission of the institution since 2018, the institutional project was approved by the scientific council; Program for the development of professional pedagogical performance of Public Health trainers, which has nine lines of research. The most significant results are associated with these lines and are expressed with the publication of the scientific results in 120 scientific publications on national and international journals. A Methodological Instructional Manual was designed for the management of improving the quality in the National School of Public Health, courses were implemented to meet the needs of teachers in relation to the teaching-learning process and a diplomat.
