Abstract

The objective of this work is to discuss the ethics and bioethics associated with contraception in the adolescent human being. A qualitative study was carried out, supported by the bibliographic review and content analysis. Searches were carried out in the Virtual Health Library (BVS / Bireme); Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) and Google Scholar This topic includes adolescent subjects, which according to the World Health Organization cover the ages of 10 to 20 years incomplete and, according to the Statute of Children and Adolescents, from 12 to 18 years. The work includes subjects with wide age ranges and with particularities resulting from the transition phase between no longer being a child, nor being an adult. This fact requires the intervention of different medical specialties and health professionals in care, as well as knowledge of the ethical, bioethical and legal aspects involved in health care.
